South End is filled with great restaurants new and old. People of every background out and about on a nice Thursday evening. Met up with some friends to try Bocado, which has been open for a few months now. It's located where Big Ben used to be. It's been completely transformed to something sexy and inviting.
Tonight featured a limited menu that has 2 burgers. The signature which is called Bocado and the other called South End. I went with the signature of course and the main element are the 2 mouthwatering patties cooked medium well. This is how I eat my burger. They were both covered in American cheese, so simple but effective. I removed the b&b pickles, which is something I never do. When you remove an item the chef felt complimented the dish. It can be disrespectful. However I did and I don't regret it. This was all stacked between house made sesame seed buns and paired with a side of delicious fries.
In the south end burger it featured a boss sauce, which I ordered a side of. I just wanted to taste it and I am happy I did. It was perfect dipping for my fries and my burger.
Overall I really enjoyed my experience at Bocado. Delicious burger and fries. Great atmosphere and good service.
I will be back for more.
